The 700 Year Old Maiden
Once, long ago there lived an old maiden. She was old, well over 700 years old and yet she was still just a maiden for her biology had not aged, nor had she taken a partner in all these 700 years. To be sure she had many intimate relationships but was never inclined towards only one true mate. In this way she was ahead of humanity as she understood the nature of relationships from a much deeper place. She understood the meaning of true connection and had realized early in her life that to limit oneself to the definition of “mate” was to disengage from the whole. She never, ever wanted to disengage from the whole.
She carried on over all 700 years of life on earth with many wonderful relationships but never defined any one of them as special.
One day the maiden looked up to the sky and saw what many would call an airplane moving through the cloud cover. It was an extremely cloudy day and yet she clearly saw this flying object. Ejecting from its tail was a stream of meaning that was lost on everyone but her. No one else understood what was occurring as she did.
The flying object was not a plane or even a “spaceship.” It was an unidentified flying object. That means in the world called earth that this particular vehicle had not, thus far, been identified. The object could be seen careening from one end of the sky to another. Its predominant colors were blue and green but red and orange were also seen.
The greatest meaning for the maiden was this: it was time to go home. She recognized the sign. It was safe now and prophecy was being fulfilled so she knew she could go home. She knew when this object arrived that her time was up on earth. She was overjoyed.
While she had enjoyed her time on earth, she had also suffered from the incoherent energies. She was supportive of all the changes that facilitated earth’s movement into oneness but she had seen so much sorrow and sadness and madness in the last 700 years that she was more than ready to go home.
In order to go home, she would need a navigator; so she built one herself with guidance from her teachers. As she began to build it, memories of lifetimes lived long ago surfaced. She realized then who had been playing games with her in this life. No matter she thought as she mentally tore up the track that led to nowhere. She was on a new track now and naturally she knew the way; she would not need a map.
The closer we get to perfect communion with others, the greater victory over madness.
The maiden was pleased with the turn of events. She had reviewed her life and was satisfied with how much she had been able to help others through many different avenues. She realized that the greatest benefit of life on earth was the potential and ability to experience joy through service. Yes, that was its saving grace.
Gathering her courage, she stepped into her chariot of fire and blasted off through the cosmos leaving only the faintest of imprints, which was just enough to create a portal to truth. This portal, when found will be used again and again and all for free.
The story has a happy ending, as the maiden is still free now and forevermore. The thief that had attempted to steal from her was actually behind bars.
When she joined with truth she recognized love and was absolutely pleased.
Science and Nature
Once there was a small boy. He was intrigued by all things scientific but he also loved nature as he saw no separation between the two.
One day as he was walking to the river he found a small shiny object made of pure gold. This object was both made of the Earth and not. In other words, it straddled two dimensions. Truth be told, it straddled all dimensions thus its appearance as gold in this dimension. The frequency of this object was such that it continually vibrated while evoking feelings of profound peace to all who laid eyes upon it.
The boy viewed the object with great wonder as it was both a scientific reality and utterly of the natural world. He knew the two worlds were not separate but had never found an object made of matter that so perfectly carried the light and thus captured what he considered to be the essence of nature.
The boy decided to leave the object exactly where it was for all to see. He had learned from a prior experience with another sacred object that possession led only to trouble and he was determined to maintain the peace he felt inside his heart from viewing the object. There was no particle of his being that desired ownership of this object. So off he went to the river.
He noticed something quite amazing as he walked upon the path to the river: every step he took felt lighter! There was an ease in his heart that had not been there before he perceived the golden object.
Lost in thought he nearly fell to the ground as he stumbled over a tree root in the path. He had never noticed this root before though he had walked this path many many times. In fact he could not remember a tree of such enormous size being part of the journey before today. But there he stood, gazing up at a gigantic sycamore tree. It's broad leaves littered the ground; it's gigantic trunk looked as solid as can be.
The boy ran to the tree and encircled his arms as far as they would go around its trunk. He whispered his findings, both scientific and natural, to the tree. He longed for a companion as sturdy, strong, and stable as this tree (as he found life on Earth to be difficult).
The tree told the boy his story. He told of the history of the Earth; the many pathways available for all; the visitors from times past and from planets and stars. He told of his prior incarnations as something other than a tree, and in particular he imparted to the boy the missing link in his data. He told the boy the wisdom he was looking for could be found in the rings of the tree or heard in the whispers of the wind through the tree's leaves. He told of lost continents that had survivors still to this day upon the land of the Earth. He told of great battles between landlubber and seafaring beings and most importantly he conveyed to the boy that the object he saw was a sign of things to come.
The tree indicated that the time was here now for the changes told in his mythology (the boy loved mythology above all else--remember he understood that there is no separation between science and nature; that all creation holds only light, and he believed that mythology reveals truth again and again if one looked for it).
The tree whispered to the boy to come even closer, to climb his branches and place his ear against his trunk for an even better understanding. The tree told the boy he was wise to leave the golden object as he had found it, as this object could be considered a type of compass that spans the ages and dimensions, which only appears at the end of one cycle and the beginning of another because at that time the greatest opportunity for the wisdom held within its nature could be released. The opening for the arrival of the golden object resides only at the crossroads where one cycle ends and another begins.
The tree told the boy the vast history of the object and how it would appear differently to each person who viewed it but that only those who would try not to possess it would actually see it. In this way the boy learned of his freedom through the delightful dialogue with the tree.
The boys whistled loud and clear calling to an owl as the sun was beginning to set. The owl was a friend of the boy and also symbolized his home (though the boys did not know this). He called for his friend the owl and the owl arrived promptly as he always did.
The boy wanted witness to the story; a sounding board and validation all wrapped up into one wise owl. As the boy told the story, the owl began to make a clicking sound. This sound is hard to describe but the clicks sounded like a recording device; the owl was making sure every aspect of the boy's story was imprinted upon this Earth reality. Remember the giant tree had not been seen on the boy's path before this day and thus the mighty sycamore had not spilled his secrets in a very long time.
No longer was the tree's story a secret for no longer was secrecy necessary. The arrival of the shiny gold object made this fact readily apparent. It was now time for the recording of a new story and thus the imprint only served as a reminder of what not to do so that all would know exactly what to do if ever there was a need for guidance of this nature.
Of course the tree knew that there was just a slim chance that a reminder of this nature would be needed. The boy's presence was evidence of the new human race on Earth. This boy did not know of greed or avarice. He did not know of ownership and he knew much about life and the interweaving details that connect everything. The boy knew mostly about light: the light of truth that runs through all of nature and all of science.
And so there at that moment, with the owl and the boy in attendance, a new civilization was born. Of course none of the participants fully realized the role that they had played or the new path they had created by simply sharing their love with each other.
A new path was indeed created. It carried a new frequency woven of gold. If the boy were to look upon the shiny object that started his journey this day he would see that it had significantly changed. No longer was it a solid object; it had become ethereal and wispy looking as it glowed with light. At its very heart was a rainbow sphere holding all colors in existence. Within the rainbow was a tiny sliver of pure white light; a portal of sorts that allowed one to view the entirety of existence--the infinity of reality; the soup from which all was created and yet this object of great value sat undisturbed upon the new path created by the boy, the tree, and the owl. It would sit that way forevermore as both a reminder and an access way to truth.
The boy sat silently in the tree. Night had fallen; his owl sat still and silent as the entire story had been told. The owl had already spotted the newly ethereal object but he did not stir from his place beside the boy. The boy too had spotted both the object as well as the new path, but he also did not stir from his perch within the tree. The tree stayed firmly rooted to his spot as his agreement was such that this was now his place.
The tree knew that this boy was the first of many new humans to come his way. He would share his wisdom with all who came to him. He knew this boy had grown up overnight and come morning the boy would climb down and be on his way to the river to start in the new world fresh, cleaned and replenished by the life-giving water of the river.
The boy would fully awaken now having witnessed the truth of all existence and creation and he would never again forget. The boy's owl made sure the imprint created by his clicking was not only part of the new path but within the very DNA of the boy. Awakened they would all be now as there was simply no other choice that would satisfy their hearts.
The Key of Life
There once was a very small child. She was golden in appearance for within her was held the Key of Life and thus the salvation of humanity. She freely shared this golden Key of Life and was overjoyed when any member of humanity was present enough to receive it.
When this child turned 11 years old in Earth time, she received a vision accompanied by such a feeling of gratitude that neither words or thought were adequate to describe what the vision held. From that point forward her illumination grew more rapidly than any human on Earth had ever experienced or witnessed. Such illumination exists even now within just a very few that hold physical human form.
On the eleventh day of the eleventh year the child felt a rising up from within that signaled dramatic change. She felt lighter and greater freedom within her human form, and she felt a "budding" sensation; a going forth; a blooming from within to without. One single red rose is the best description of this internal blooming that she felt.
The red rose was most extraordinary as it was tipped in white and grew only from the golden soil that was her light. Transparency became her motto through this witnessing. She was already a being that operated congruently but now that congruency was available for all to see (and also explore) through her presence on Earth. This was the gift of no time within time, and this gift arrived in full bloom on the eleventh of the eleventh in the year of the eleven.
With this signaling from the child's DNA full awareness of her role as the bearer and keeper of the Key of Life was known. She understood that she was not alone but that all of humanity shared this role and responsibility, and thus were responsible for their own salvation. She was one of many on Earth who had awakened to the deeper understanding of the purpose of Life.
The child also knew that her understanding was but one rung on the spiral of life. She knew the spiral held both a forward and backward momentum and that perception was key to greater illumination of the wisdom held in the spiral, but that ultimately the spiral led to infinity, formlessness, and the vastness of unlimited potential. All of this she knew and accepted for she had come into life with the truths of eternity emblazoned within.
Therefore, as the child continued walking the path of the golden Key in peace and with an assertiveness that some mistook for boldness, she generated an awareness within others of the understanding of our physical existence as being transient but at the same time holding great meaning if one is willing to see.
The small child of the golden Key of Life wove her magic until the end of time; until days of solitude stretched into nights of companionship; until the stars met truth and understood its core teachings, and until alignment signaled the end of one era and the beginning of another.
The Story of Brian and Sam
Once there was a small boy. His name was Brian. He was sad for on this day he was missing his frog whose name was Sam. Brian and Sam were pals from the beginning of Brian’s existence on Earth. Brian had lived on other planets before Earth but time on Earth was his favorite for many reasons.
One day Brian was walking along a wooded path. This was very early in his life. He had wandered away from his Mom and Dad seeking freedom from their constant fighting. He was only three years old at this time but he knew already that the small woods by his home would afford him the peace he was seeking.
As he walked along the well-worn footpath he spotted Sam. He was a frog so he was green and freckled or perhaps speckled is a better way to describe Sam. He croaked throughout the day looking in earnest for a mate. Brian wasn’t exactly what Sam had in mind at that moment but he was a good friend. Sam was well aware of the destiny that he and Brian had planned to experience together so he welcomed Brian with a big smile. Brian was ecstatic that he had found his friend Sam the frog.
Sam would grow to love Brian and cherish his friendship. These two, a human and a frog, had known each other before but not here on Earth. The time was right for their journey together to unfold and so together on Earth they found themselves to be.
The next day Brian again escaped into the woods. His parents scarcely noticed his absence thinking he was playing in his room. They were so distracted by their own self-absorbed arguments that they didn’t know that he had left the house. It was a lonely life for Brian at home. In the woods he was happy, especially now that he had found his friend Sam.
For you see Sam was a magician. Brian recognized Sam’s magician status when he first spotted him. He knew their friendship would blossom day after day in the glittering sunshine of the pond in the woods.
It was a banner day when Sam suddenly informed Brian that it was time for him to learn magic. Brian felt fearful because within his memory were many past daydreams where magic was used against him. He was big and strong in those daydreams but the magic was stronger and he had succumbed to it in a bad way.
Brian’s thinking at this moment was warped. Magic is neither good nor bad. How it is used determines its goodness or badness. Brian had this knowing within him but memories of past choices where negative consequences were experienced brought fear into the present moment clouding his vision and affecting his judgment. Remember he was only three years old at this time.
Sam was convinced that Brian was ready to begin his training to become a magician. He wasn’t at all worried about Brian’s memories or the misperception that these memories created. Fear could be overcome if one was willing. Sam knew Brian was ready for his very first lesson.
In truth, Brian was ready. Sam’s judgment was not clouded by past memories of magic’s misuse. Sam knew of purity having chosen, for the most part, correct use of magic.
Brian agreed to begin his training by participating in the first lesson. Every good magician needs an assistant. The assistant learns and grows through this role eventually achieving magician status. After becoming a magician, mentoring an assistant was offered as part of the life of service. Brian was being offered the position of assistant in which he could complete the training necessary to become a full magician, after which he would be offered the opportunity to mentor an assistant of his own. This was the cycle of becoming a magician.
The role of assistant contains the following responsibilities: assist the magician in all activities through drawing energy from the atmosphere and applying it to the magic at hand. The assistant must be of pure intention. The assistant must also learn to let go of all fear so that intention is not clouded by it. The assistant must also learn balance as it is an essential component of all magic. Without balance magic is sunk or in other words it will lurk below the level of conscious awareness. Finally the assistant must know humility but not in the sense of a hierarchy of greater or lesser but in the sense of a learning curve holding a bell shape. There would be three of these bell-shaped curves that Brian would need to complete to become a magician. Each curve had an upside, a peak and a downside. All sides were of equal importance. Humility ensured this understanding was present within the training and thus the potential magician.
Though most humans think of advancement in terms of rising higher and higher, Sam knew the secret that was symbolized by the bell-shaped curve. It held the true meaning of the magical process. Humility begins and ends this process. The peak is only in the middle. The bell-shaped curve is part of the balancing process that the assistant must learn, then know, in order to become a full magician.
All of the information about being an assistant was contained in lesson one. Brian was done for the day having received this information. It was an easy start to what could be a simple process if Brian allowed it to be so. Choices would have to be made every step of the way. Brian would always be shown the simplicity of the process so that a choice could be made in perfect clarity. Whether or not he made the choice that would ease him through the process was up to him. For now little Brian could take in no more information.
All was well. The first lesson is usually the hardest because it creates an opening where a choice must be made to continue or discontinue the training process. Brian had already overcome his resistance enough to listen to Sam, therefore he completed the first lesson with ease. Brian’s fear from past memories was released through his willingness to go through the magician’s training with his friend Sam. But still Brian had to choose whether or not to continue the training through all three bell-shaped curves.
Brian had had a glorious time with Sam on this day of lesson one. He felt great happiness inside. He dreaded going back home to his dysfunctional household with arguing and unhappy parents.
Sam smiled as he witnessed Brian’s thoughts. He knew magic would shift Brian’s life in many untold ways. He also knew he couldn’t share this wisdom yet with Brian. Sam had no problem being patient with Brian. He had already achieved peace through his magic. He had already been an assistant and thus moved through the process to become a magician. Now he would take Brian through the process assuming Brian made the choice to continue.
Sam was confident that Brian would make this choice. He witnessed the immediate release of fear that was caused by his past choices and experiences. He also witnessed the shift in Brian’s energy as he spent time with him. Brian knew already why he was here and what he wanted to accomplish. The training would bring that wisdom to the surface of Brian’s mind if he chose to continue his learning with Sam as his mentor.
The training process was not one that could be achieved all in one day. There were many layers of both conventional and unconventional thinking to be undone within Brian. Both types of thinking would need to be discarded if Brian is to become a magician. One way of thinking is not better than another. Both types would eventually interfere with Brian’s ability to become a magician. So both must go, one after the other. First conventional thinking would be left behind, then unconventional thinking would go, until only peace was left in Brian’s mind.
The assistant-to-magician training process was not complicated but until Brian had gone through his training he would not realize this. Sam, having traveled through the progression from one way of living to a real way of being realized the traps along the way. He would be a good mentor to Brian, illustrating true magic again and again until Brian released all obstacles to becoming a magician.
Lesson one was completed but to continue Brian would need to understand just exactly what it was that he was undertaking. Sam would show him the way tomorrow. For now all was well.
However, there was one question Sam held in his mind right now. He wondered how he would continue as a magician once Brian became a magician too. Sam wondered what his purpose would be then. Would he hold any purpose once he finished mentoring Brian? He thought not, but for right now he knew his purpose was to mentor Brian and until this mentoring was completed he would not know what came next in his life. He didn’t know at this point if he would continue living as a frog magician in this world called Earth. He didn’t even know if his magic would stay with him or if it would leave having fulfilled its most useful purpose of taking another through the training process.
Though Sam’s question could not be answered right away, he still thought about it now and then. Sam knew this thinking process was fine even if it appeared to be useless. He accepted the limitations in his ability to comprehend the big picture and so know what was next in his life. He was determined to continue living his life as a frog first and magician second. He enjoyed a peaceful existence in the forest with times of great solitude and times filled with the companionship of others. Brian would be great fun to mentor. This much he knew for sure. His heart told him so. He had found a long lost friend in Brian. He would fulfill his commitment to him. Brian was unaware of the agreement they made together so long ago. Brian would remember one day but not until he was far into his next level of existence on the spiral of life.
The Story of Gold
Once there was a small boy. He was tiny, very seemingly insignificant in the world. But as great things sometimes come in small packages, this boy though petite was a dynamo of light waves held in compact form. The smallness was simply an illusion.
The humbleness held in this small boy’s eyes conveyed great truth. He knew his smallness was in no way indicative of his worth. He knew of gold. He knew he was this and that it was the source of all happiness; his own and those in his world. He understood creation and held a wand in his hands at all times.
His wand was invisible to most yet he could see it quite clearly and knew of its power. This knowing generated within him great feelings of warmth and comfort.
One day this very small boy was experimenting with his wand for this was why he existed. He knew this innately but not yet intuitively. His intuitive powers were vast but still did not match the majesty of his innate wisdom. It was the reconciliation of the two that he was trying to accomplish through his experiments with his wand. He just knew he could do this but had not yet manifested it.
The boy awoke one morning as a grown man. His dreams the night before had been strange: all about death and re-birth, endings and new beginnings, and of course the magic of his wand held a starring role. Oh how he wished he could recall the details of the dreams for held within them was the one clue he had been searching for his entire life.
And yet the remembrance was within his grasp. He knew he had it within him all along. Now, right before his dreaming eyes, he saw how to create it. The trick was to bring the remembrance forward into his awake time.
The boy-grown-into-a man had all the equipment necessary for the task. His intuitive faculties were sharp. Trust and the ability to be still so that he could hear once again the voice of the small boy within him was all that was needed. This dynamo voice of light held all innocence and thus the answers the grown man was seeking. The small boy within was the truth seeking the light through layers of consciousness; from the dream state up through the channel of awakened awareness.
As the man contemplated in stillness the wand materialized before him floating in mid-air.
What did this mean? Everything! The wand holds no limits, no boundaries, no form and thus was not constrained by physical laws. The wand was made of light not energy. Through the wand were miracles accomplished. Finally then the man understood that held in his very hands was the solution to the dilemma posed by a life of incarnated form.
He understood the means to reconcile innate wisdom with the current state of awareness. He knew how to use the wand to bring to his awareness all that he knew from within to be true.
And the tiny little boy jumped for joy! He was pleased. He loved this grown man that he had become. The boy’s light shone through all the barriers held within the grown man. The boy had been freed from the imprisonment of the grown man’s mind.
When the ego falls away the light shines bright again for all to see, know and realize. This, then is the end of the story.
The Boy and His Journey
Once there was a small boy. He was stunningly beautiful with long wavy blonde hair and clear blue eyes. He stared up at the night sky for a long time because something about the sky and stars puzzled him deeply. He wondered just where he fit into this story, this grand design so bold and beautiful. He wondered who and more importantly what he was.
What he didn’t realize was that the vastness of the starry sky triggered his awareness of truth. It was the closest simulation within the created world of the truth of infinity yet his mind simply could not make the connection.
One day as he was walking along a well-worn path he saw something glinting or sparkling in the sunlight for this day was beautiful and clear. He ran up ahead to see what this was in his path but when he arrived it disappeared. This greatly puzzled him, as he knew absolutely that he had seen something. Without further hesitation he continued his journey puzzled but accepting the mystery and so he was peaceful.
Soon he came upon a large lake. Wind whipped at the water creating great white peaks. The water was a deep rich hue of blue and the lake ran very deep. He felt frightened at first for the wind and water were dramatic in their presentation to his senses but then he remembered the glinting thing in his pathway and how it completely disappeared when he looked for it.
He realized then that his fear was no different. It was just a creation, a different creation to be sure as it was one that he perceived with discomfort instead of curiosity but no different in its realness. With this realization he approached the water’s edge and put his toe in the water. How glorious the water felt! He stripped off his clothes and waded into the water up to his chest.
At that exact moment a falling star caught his eye which was quite unusual as it was daytime now and no stars were visible. He remembered a journey from a long time ago which held within it a lifetime of suffering ending in madness. Sadness overwhelmed him briefly but then again he remembered the disappearing sparkly thing from his pathway, and again the sadness vanished in an instant. He resumed enjoying his time in the glorious water.
About this time the sun began to set above the water’s edge. The boy shivered as the temperature was rapidly falling with the setting sun. He felt an overriding urge to state some intentions as his learning this day had been great indeed. He stated his desire to really know truth, not just in his mind but also in his heart and throughout his entire being. His sincerity was witnessed by every star in the night sky.
About this time, something magical happened. It was in the instant that his intention was stated, angel after angel merged into his being. He saw lifetime after lifetime flash before his eyes. His energy soared up to meet and greet each and every star then cascaded down over the lake in a rain shower of diamonds. He no longer held a body but was free from all form. The diamonds rose up in unison, collected in the center, and swirled into a new creation. His one diamond was born.
Peace ran through his veins now as his form reappeared holding only light. He absolutely knew of completion. Every particle of his form was filled with All light. Every thought form held peace and every vision contained truth.
The boy of light witnessed the emerging of a brand new day. He put on his clothes and raced home. He could hardly wait to share his story with his companions. First he told his dog, then his cat, and then his turtle. The animals looked in his eyes; they saw only light. As he looked back at them he knew they understood as he did. All day he was happy.
The next morning the boy awoke early. Twinkling light had entered his room without any beckoning from him. He stretched and smiled, as he felt better than he ever had. As he looked out the window, a sparkling gem sat waiting for his approval on his front lawn.
He raced outside to see if this one would still be there. And sure enough a great deep blue star sapphire was waiting for him sparkling clean and bright in the very green lawn. He whistled when he saw it. The sapphire was beyond comparison with any he had ever seen before in any of his lifetimes.
He put the sapphire in his pocket and kept on whistling. He was so happy to be alive. He felt ready to speak to anyone and everyone who would listen. He knew the gift he’d been given and also knew it was given to him so he could share it with others. The rock of sapphire in his pocket was a gentle reminder of all that he’d witnessed and all that he knew and all the he would share with the world.
Peace was in his heart once again.
The end.
